BlackSun AI is a privately held technology company. We build decision intelligence for governments and for the operators of the infrastructure a nation runs on, for environments where the cost of being wrong is measured in more than money.

Every serious state now asks the same three questions of every system it buys. Who controls it. Who can inspect it. What happens if we walk away. We build so that the answer to all three is the customer. Ownership, deployment and the model itself remain under the operator's control, from architecture through sustained operation.

Ownership and control belong to the operator, embedded from architecture through deployment. Air-gapped and on-premise deployment is a first-class path, not an exception handled at the end. The customer chooses the model and can replace it.

The platform informs decisions. It does not make them. Consequential action remains with an accountable human, and the system is designed so that this authority can be exercised, recorded and reviewed, not bypassed.

Lawful, governed deployment

Every engagement is scoped against the applicable export-control, end-use and data-protection regime before anything is deployed. We do not undertake work that cannot be conducted lawfully in both the customer's jurisdiction and our own.

Open, auditable sourcing

The platform is built on open sources with provenance tracked per claim. It is not built on, and we do not procure, data obtained through brokerage of personal information. It is not designed for, and is not provided for, mass surveillance of a state's own population.

Explainability as a duty

Risk scoring is deterministic and inspectable, and every assessment cites the events behind it, so that the institution using the system is able to challenge it. A system that cannot be disagreed with is not intelligence.
